A laboratory accident creates a ghostly duplicate of Ray Palmer, who wants to take the real Ray's place by destroying him.
Tha Atom travels back to Holland in the year 1610 where he meets explorer Henry Hudson and Jan Lippershey, inventor of the telescope.
