Taskmaster has the Triad and Sunset Bain just where he wants them…pitted against each other! And, just as sparks begin to fly between Taskmaster and Sandi, the flame is snuffed out…permanently.
The Triad and Sunset Bain realize they have been tricked into a war by Taskmaster, and use the opportunity to form an Alliance. As part of the deal, the Triad use their sources to track Taskmaster down and deliver his head to Bain as a gift. The Triad ambush Taskmaster during a romantic candle-lit dinner with Sandi.
Taskmaster is able to fight most of them off, but Hong, the Triad head Taskmaster had impersonated to start the war, shoots Sandi in the back, and knocks Taskmaster out while the mercenary is holding the dying body of his date.
Taskmaster wakes up in a warehouse surrounded by the Triad members that had kidnapped him and Sunset Bain and her crew.
Sunset then orders the death of the Triad members, as she has used the time they were hunting Taskmaster to take out the other heads of the Triad.
She then has Taskmaster Tortured, beaten and put in a weighted sack and thrown in the ocean.
