Even though the issue is numbered as 5, it's the second and final issue in this volume of annuals. The series continues the numbering from the Legion of Super-Heroes Annual but did not offer any new content. As a result, this issue in essence is a reprint of Legion of Super-Heroes Annual #2 but under a different volume name and number.
