When the Atlantis/Oumland War spills over and threatens the surface world Superman decides it's time to get involved, with or without the Lord of the Seven Seas blessing.
Clark and Cat are out on a ship surveying the seas for a story Cat is planning to report on. A possible outbreak of war between Atlantis and Oumland is brewing. While on board they are attacked by a Plesiosaur and fall overboard. Superman and Aquaman work together to fight the creature but are interrupted by torpedoes headed towards Atlantis. They go after the torpedoes, while Superman is taking hold of one he crashes it into a the side of a rock and is injured, it is then that he gets help from someone dear in his past.
