A longtime fan-favorite hero has escaped his centuries-long exile from the Phantom Zone and owes a tremendous debt to those who set him free. Too bad it's not the Legion!
The Wanderers, led by Light Lass and Lightning Lad's older brother Mekt Ranzz, raid the Legion of Super-Heroes headquarters to abduct four members to join their cause. The four members are Light Lass, Star Boy, Ultra Boy and Karate Kid. Meanwhile, Mon-El escapes form the Phantom Zone and Brainiac 5, with the assistance of Dream Boy, is able to concoct a serum that would save Mon-El from his deadly lead poisoning. When Mon-El is healed, he is suddenly teleported to the Wanderers.
