SUPER SOLDIER: MAN OF WAR

Super - Soldier (an amalgam of DC's Superman and Marvel's Captain America) returned in his second Amalgam one-shot, by writer Mark Waid and artist Dave Gibbons. Part of the All-Star Winners Squadron (DC's All-Star Squadron and Marvel's All-Winner's Squad combined), Super Soldier used his fantastic abilities to help the allied powers during World War II. The issue also guest starred Aqua-Mariner (a fusion of DC's Aquaman and Marvel's Sub-mariner), Whiz ( a combination of DC's Golden Age Flash and Marvel's Whizzer), and Human Lantern (DC's Golden Age Green Lantern and Marvel's Human Torch combined).
