Most of the UK Star Trek Annuals, starting from the first in 1969, were published by World Distributors and reprinted Gold Key's Star Trek series. However, with the advent of the Motion Picture, the 1981 Annual was published by Grandreams and reprinted Marvel's adaptation of the movie, while the 1983 Annual, released to tie in with Wrath of Khan, was published by Stafford Pemberton (though, despite the movie being namechecked on the cover, the actual stories within were again Gold Key reprints). The final Star Trek Annual, released in 1985, saw the license back with World Distributors.
