ContentsChapter 1: The Prince Rex Racer was a promising racer. He took the Mach 1 without Pops knowing. Pops was concerned when he found out. The car was still experimental and needed to be tested first. Some debris on the track caused Rex and the Mach 1 to crash. Rex made it out of the wreckage safely. When he blamed the crash on the car, Pops blew a gasket. Years of his work had been destroyed thanks to Rex. Pops decided that Rex was too immature to handle being a racer and threatened to take him off the racing team. That was fine with Rex. He decided he'd become a world champion on his own. He walked away from Pops and his family. A year later, Rex finds himself on board an airplane headed to the country of Kapetapek. He's been summoned there by Prince Kabala in regards of automobile racing. Shortly before landing, the plane is hijacked by terrorists seeking to gain control of the nation. Rex, unable to sit and watch a flight attendant being held at gunpoint, decides to try to stop them. After a struggle, the flight crew re-gain control of the plane. Upon landing, Rex is greeted by Prince Kabala, who is wearing a mask. The Prince is not surprised that Rex was the one to have the reflexes to stop the terrorists. He tells Rex that the terrorist want him dead but he will never die. He says he is immortal and will live forever. — Description from Comic Vine community (comicvine.gamespot.com).
