A Marvel NOW! title starring a new Nova, the young boy named Sam Alexander. The first Nova series starring a different person than Richard Rider. The series lasted for a total of issue 31 after which the series ended due to the events of Secret Wars. After Secret Wars, the series was resumed with a new number 1 in Nova Volume 6. The series also had a special Nova Annual issue.
