While watching TV and studying pieces of a defeated giant robot, the Metal Men are unknowingly observed by the villainous Doctor Yes, evil twin of Egg Fu. When Doc Magnus mysteriously disappears, the Metal Men search for him while continuing to rebuild the giant robot, unaware that Doctor Yes still controls it. Their investigation leads them to China, where they discover Magnus has been captured and they must confront Doctor Yes, who has sinister plans involving brainwashing and an attack on American schoolchildren.
