The Metal Men face a powerful new threat called Solar-Brain, a living entity formed from solar flares and cosmic dust that has gained telekinetic powers. The creature begins terrorizing Earth by collecting weapons and spacecraft, treating them as toys. Dr. Magnus and the Metal Men launch into space to confront Solar-Brain, but find themselves at a severe disadvantage against the entity's reality-warping abilities as it turns the heroes against themselves.
