Dr. Magnus and the Metal Men perform heroic acts around the city, but Magnus rejects Platinum's romantic feelings and goes on a date with a human woman. In desperation, Platinum secretly builds a robot duplicate of Magnus that loves her, but the creation becomes reckless and endangers civilians.
