Quasar investigates a mysterious underground electromagnetic disturbance on the Empire State University campus. When Wendell Vaughn drills down into the ground, he unknowingly unearths the old laboratory of Dr. Edward Lansky! And lurking in the shadows is...Lightmaster (or at least his energy form)! Once Lightmaster takes control of Quasar's power bands the battle is on! Can the web-slinger and Quasar switch off the Lightmaster?
