SynopsisHaving learned of a new mutant, the X-Men are dispatched to a football field where Derrick Beacon is freaking out about his new powers and shooting bio-centric gels at people. The team members attempt to talk the teen down, but his powers are erratic and Gambit shoos Jubilee away for her safety. Iceman begins to freeze Derrick, but the team is thwarted by the appearance of Mr. Sinister, who immediately renders the X-Men unconscious. Jubilee watches from her hiding place while Sinister lords over her fallen teammates.
