The bi-weekly action continues! Adamantium man Wolverine, Master of Kung-fu Shang-Chi, The mysterious Man-Thing and The Incredible Hulk, all in one book to gobble up! Save The Tiger [part 6]:Following the events at the Princess Bar and at Roche's house, Wolverine's life has been a hell since his arrival in Madripoor. He was tortured brutally at Roche's and barely escaped, later being saved by Jessan Hoan. Now Wolverine has recovered, and Jessan has taken him on a boat ride into the ocean. They are sailing on a junkand Wolverine contemplates what has happened in the previous few days. He is surprised to find Jessan here and like this. Jessan says that what has happened with her was not expected. She relates her story of the past. After the Reavers had captured her, they wanted her to work for them. A Reaver named Prettyboy considered her morality, kindness etc. as liabilities and erased them from her mind. But only partiallt did he succeed. That was when the X-Men had interrupted and dealt with the Reavers for good. Jessan was teleported back to her home. But Jessan had already changed. She had become another person. Amoral, indifferent, carefree. She did not care what happened to her. She saw that her bank was out of business and tried for jobs. But her careless nature negated her image at the interviews. Even then she didn't care. Her short while with the Reavers had earned her new skills. She found her way inside the Meridian Bankand was stealing data when she was discovered. But she killed everyone in her path and ran away. Then she came to the lowtown of Madripoorand quickly discovered what a ratpit it was. Place full of thugs and a crimelord named Roche. One day, she found some thugs molesting some women and drove them away, after giving them a challenge and her name as "Tyger". Now she plans to kill Roche and take over his empire and finances, and place herself as the new Crimelordof Madripoor. Wolverine says that in doing so, their alliance might be cracked. Jessan says that though Wolverine owes her his life, she cannot stop him. They come back to Jessan's main boat. Wolverine senses something and they hop onto the junk. They see all the crew killed, stabbed through the hearts. Wolverine says that Razorfist is behind this. Suddenly Jessan hears a muffled voice. She runs towards a cabin before Wolverine can warn her. She opens the door and finds her captain, before seeing that the door was booby-trapped. A bundle of explosives blow up in union, leaving little of the ship in their wake. Story #2 - Elements of Terror Part 6 - Man Thing - In a single day of testimony before Congress, Colonel Jody Choate has transformed his media image from that of a covert agent and arms merchant to the very personification of American initiative and patriotism. At the Freedom Science Studies Institute, the super soldier project, funded by Choate's clandestine activities, has gained a new project chief and a new experimental subject. At the same time however, in Casagata Florida thread's of Choate's plan have begun to unravel: the demon priestess Marea has severed her ties with his mercenaries and now prepares to voyage into Man Thing's singular horror. Story #3 - Crossing Lines Part 5 - Master of Kung Fu - Hoping to learn the location of the base where numerous terrorists are uniting under the leadership of an American arm's merchant known as Argus and where Leiko is being held hostage. Shang Chi and Cat hijack a shipment of weapons bound for the base. The crates, however, are filled with drugs not guns and only by selling the drugs can they get enough money to reclaim the pawned weapons. Story #4 - Risky Business - The Incredible Hulk - The Gray Goliath is enjoying the good life as a leg breaker in Las Vegas, at least he would be enjoying it if it wasn't for his boss's enemies. I wonder what they would think if they knew that the "Mr. Fix It" they're after is really the incredible, and at the moment vindictive, Hulk.
