Captain Atom and the Ray rally the Justice League against Dreamslayer, who's backed by a mysterious cosmic power and who claims to be the entity the cult has been trying to reach.
In this issue Booster gold gets one of his many different robot looking costumes. They kept changing for a while after Doomsday destroyed the first one.
Dreamslayer has become more powerful and escapes from a machine with the help of a misguided Randolph. The battle is still going on at the end of the issue. Dreamslayer zaps Ice and it is left open ended as to how this has hurt her.
Also in this issue, T.O. Morrow visits Max Lord to warn him about the future and Amazing Man visits his dying grandfather to talk about their past.
