A well-intentioned man wants to rule the world and sets an elaborate trap that will use Impulse's super-speed to power a time machine allowing him to seize control in the past. But, as a side effect, the scheme traps Impulse and Max in prehistoric times, where anything they do -- even eating dinner -- could have horrible consequences for the present.
