Just as she is settling down to merchant life in Renant, Illya hears news of man-eating monsters plaguing a village isolated by recent disasters. Illya and friends set off to the rescue but are accosted by rampaging carnivorous beasts. Are these the monsters victimizing the village? Or is there an even bigger menace afoot?
