This issue takes place after Action Comics Weekly #632-635 where Hal Jordan fights Lord Malvolio and escapes his banishment that was a starless void. Priest mentions the incident near the end of this issue. In the issue itself Hal is confronted and must defeat a robot known as The Seeker.
