Still attempting to escape, Kilowog receives a message from Guy that they are in the area and can help them escape from the trouble they're in. Kilowog says that he'll just "sit tight" and wait for their escape. While still being pursued by the bounty hunters they find a tunnel and crawl inside. A little further down the tunnel they run into Kilowog also trying to make an escape. Now that they're a party, the begin going further in the tunnel and come across Bolphunga the Unrelenting taunting them to emmerge from the tunnels. He is creating a large amount of noise and this makes the Lanters a little uneasy having just escaped a large amount of spiders. Isamot and Vath go on ahead to scout the area and come across a large chasm which appears to be a control room. It is bright red and looks like they have a map of the universe up on display. Arguing what the map represents, they come to a conclusion that their map is demonstrating that each black hole is a connection point in a vast subspace web. This is how Kilowog, Isamot, and Vath must have been transported to Vega. Vega must be a connection point in their web. While trying to keep quiet Vath, needing to hear and see better, uses a litle power from his ring to get a closer look. This sets off intruder alarms from within the complex. In another location, Kilowog, Kyle, and Guy hear the intruder alarms and put stealth aside. They immediately create a diversion by blowing a hole in the wall and attempting to escape. They must flee from the "nest" of the spiders. Since they're now in the open, the spiders sensors have detected veteran Lanterns in their "nest". They are shocked to see Lanterns in their vicinity and take it that the Green Lantern Corps are attacking their nest. While trying to escape to the exterior, all the Lanterns are now joined together. As soon as they surface Kyle is challenged by Fatality seeking revenge. While in the scuffle they get surrounded by arachnids and are now joined by Bolphunga the Unrelenting. Another fight ensues between Kilowog and Bolphunga and Kyle and Fatality. After fighting for a few moments they all come together and someone thinks to check their ring's power levels. Almost everyone is nearly out of juice. They all make one decision, to pool their remaining energy and create a force sheild and blast their way out of there. During their journey back to Oa, they discuss what they've learned from Vath's recording of their control room's display. Soon after they begin their journey once more they are ambushed again by those same bounty hunters. They are not attacked for long because Stel and Green Man come to their rescue. Thanking eachother for the help out of this mess the Lanterns recieve a Code Zero alert--Oa is under direct attack!
