The West Coast Avengers are no more, but Iron Man has plans of his own for a new team, and a new philosophy! They will actively prevent disasters before they happen, rather than stopping them. They are…Force Works! Iron Man, brings Spider-Woman, USAgent, Scarlet Witch, and Wonder Man together to form Force Works. He shows them there new headquarters, The Works. Everything seem to be going well but when Scarlet Witch and Wonder Man go back to the old Avengers West headquarters and run into Vision and the Black Widow, things go bad quickly. The Kree attack the four heroes and use a ray to debilitate Vision and Wonder Man. Wonder Man takes off for the Kree's mother ship in orbit. The rest of the Force Works team shows up and Scarlet Witch uses her Hex powers, and they summon Century, who helps fight back the Kree. In space Wonder Man turns off the Kree's ray, but when two space pods destroy the ship it appears that Wonder Man is killed. Back on earth more pods land near the Force Works team, and the Scatter emerge. They teleport away with Spider-Woman, USAgent and Scarlet Witch, leaving Iron Man, with a confused Century, wondering how everything went wrong so quickly.
