The sullen Grodd reigns over the African continent with a iron fist and taste for blood. He and his gorillas exercise complete dominance over the entire land, yet the rest of the world fails to notice. Grodd wants nothing more than to be noticed and feared and envies Aquaman's status as the most dangerous being on Earth. In an effort to gain recognition for his monstrous ways, the telepathic Gorilla Grodd plans to embark on a journey and enter the fray.
