Divorce is tough for any teenager, but when your mother is a typical suburban soccer mom and your dad is a 300 foot tall, city trampling, battleship devouring monster things get even tougher. This is Duncan Rosenblatt's reality. His mom wants him to get into a good college, his dad wants him to go into the family business, namely conquering the Earth and ascending to his rightful place as king of all monsters. Duncan find himself trapped between two lives. Too humane to succeed in his father's world of conquest and battle, but too feral for the world of men, he abandons both and flees into the wilderness. His path is chosen for him when his mother is kidnapped and he must unleash his full fury to save her. Will the monster or the man triumph in the end?
