The story begins with Victor Von Doom aka Dr. Doom paying a visit to a gypsy. He mentions his long lost love Valeria, but doesn't exactly make clear what he wants. Eventually he gains magical abilities and attacks the Fantastic Four in full force. The battle is indeed brutal, but this story arc is mainly remembered for its ending which will play a role in a new rule concerning Dr. Doom's country Latveria.
