Hulk, the guest star, is asked to take down a Hydra base in the Nevada Desert. To the Hulk's surprise resides a Hydra made gamma bomb, which by the time the Hulk arrives is to late despite desperate attempts to disarm it. The gamma bomb explosion killed everything around it except the Hulk and only enraged him even more, which causes it to attack Las Vegas. The Thing and the Human Torch of the Fantastic Four are sent in to take care of the Hulk while Reed and Sue stay behind to sort out the situation with the Child Welfare Department who feel that the children are living in a dangerous environment.
