EL CAPITÁN TRUENO

In May 1956, Bruguera starts publishing a magazine "italian style", in black & white, featuring stories of Capitan Trueno and other characters. It's a hit rightaway. Soon Bruguera starts to publish it weekly instead of every two weeks, artist Ambros needs an assistant and the price goes up. Bruguera uses it to launch new characters like "El Jabato", and makes some re-editions. It's probably the most legendary publication in the history of spanish comicbooks. It finished on August 12, 1968, with issue #618,
