DOCTOR WHO ANNUAL

In 1965 World Distributors licensed the rights to produce annuals based on the BBC's Doctor Who TV show. They would subsequently publish 20 annuals through until 1985 (Doctor Who Annuals 1966 to 1986, dating a year ahead as was normal for British annuals, and skipping only 1972), plus four Dalek Annuals in the 1970s, a K9 Annual in 1983, and a 1966 novella, Invasion from Space. A few years after they let the license lapse, Marvel UK picked it up and began publishing Doctor Who Yearbooks.
