DE MAN VAN STAAL

Having originally appeared in the UK Lion comic, Robot Archie was initially reprinted in the Netherlands in the weekly comic Sjors from 1963. Sjors' then-publisher N.V. De Spaarnestad also collected the series periodically as comic album, De Man van Staal, producing seven such collections before Sjors moved to a new publisher, taking Archie with it. In 1973 Amsterdam Boek would again publish another Archie album using De Man van Staal title.
