CONCRETE JUNGLE: THE LEGEND OF THE BLACK LION & THE BLACK LION

Terry Smalls is the son of a hero of the Black Panther Movement, but he’s as corrupt as his father was. In fact the premise of this tale is that everybody is on the take, which makes for some excellent writing from Christopher Priest, as the likeable community activist becomes the focus of attention of the Cult of the Black Lion. An intriguing beginning for this spinoff from Quantum & Woody, sadly curtailed by the closure of Acclaim’s publishing division. Note: Volume named per the indicia.
