High school student Niina Haruki lives alone with his author father, Kunihiko.
Housekeeper Azusa Junpei, who is kind and a good cook, works for them. Haruki adores and is attached to this warm-hearted and caring man, whom he regards as a real older brother. Kunihiko is not a very talkative person, and Haruki is not much different, but just like Haruki, he seems to trust Junpei and opens up to him.
