Mian Toris and her reluctant servants Babo and Wataru are holed up in a backwater frontier town with creeping mold everywhere. When the mold plugs up the workings of her android body, Mian is helpless! Wataru gleefully decides to leave his master even as the relentless Hegelbard soldiers close in.
