After last issue's events, Drax tries to defeat Thanos, who had become a God. The origin of Drax the Destroyer is told, revealing that he is actually Moondragon's father, and that Thanos had killed him and her wife years ago. Kronos and Mentor gave life back to him, only to made him the Destroyer of Thanos. While Drax fights against Thanos in space, Iron Man and Captain Marvel try to reach ISAAC somewhere in Titan.
At the end, ISAAC makes Captain Marvel realize that his enemies won't stop until he is dead, and he switches places with Rick Jones as the creatures stop fighting. Rick goes back to Earth and convinces Thanos to fight against Captain Marvel as a man, not a god.
