After the death of Doctor Sylvian, two of the Black Orchids escape and travel to Arkham--to find out more information from Poison Ivy. In this issue we meet Carl. A bad guy who has just been released from prison after doing his time for a botched job when he worked for Lex Luthor. He is seeking out re employment with Luthor, but lex is adamant about not hiring him because of the screw up that landed Carl in prison. In the meantime the newly grown Black Orchid is trying to find out who she is. So she goes to Gotham City to see Dr. Woodru, and Pamela Isley.
