Archie vows to start doing things his way, but ends up with more than a bruised ego in "My Way." Betty in "Time and Tide." Archie can't seem to keep his foot out of his mouth when he unintentionally badmouths one of Betty's dresses in "Half Way Measures." Using the money he earned for submitting photos to a teen magazine, Archie plans to take Veronica to a dance, but when Veronica realizes the photos are of Betty she doesn't take it too well (hmm, I wonder why) in "Photo Phun."
