Betty's attempts to soak in a hot tub keep getting interrupted. Betty whines and begs some money out of her father to buy a new outfit at the mall, then spots a girl in even poorer circumstances than she's in. Good Samaritan Betty spends so much time keeping Reggie out of Moose's angry clutches that Reggie begins to believe Betty is in love with him. Polly's visit from San Francisco has everybody fussing over her to the point where Betty thinks everyone has forgotten her upcoming birthday.
