The savagery of Man-Bat reaches a horrifying peak this final issue of the series! Continued from The Dark Knight #28 Batman has just been thrown off the back of a flying Man-Bat, and the Batplane is too far away so he needs to use his grappling hook to stop his fall, hurting him badly in the process. After getting patched up by Alfred, Batman talks to Commissioner Gordon about arresting Abraham Langstrom, for being the Man-Bat, but Gordon won't hear of it. Then Batman goes to Langstrom's mansion to confront Abraham, but the millionaire just taunts the Dark Knight. Batman then goes to talk to Kirk Langstrom, and asks him to help with a plan. Later that night Abraham turns into a Man-Bat and attacks a homeless shelter on The Hill. There he bites a homeless man attempting to help the others. Once Man-Bat starts drinking the man's blood it is revealed to be Batman, and he has injected himself with the antidote. This changes Man-Bat back into Abraham and the police arrest him. Later... Abraham is found not guilty by reason of insanity, but knowing that he can never change back into Man-Bat is a punishment and what worse now Batman is making it his personal mission to take Abraham down, permenantly.
