Judge Dredd comes to Gotham City and fights it out with The Batman!
Meanwhile, Scarface The Ventriloquist, and his mob are orchestrating a crime.
Dredd stops fighting. He tells Batman that he only fought against him in the first place, to stall him. Why? Because a clipping from the next day's Gotham's newspaper was found. It says that Batman died while saving a few kids from an explosion. It was because of Scarface and The Ventriloquist. Dredd tells Batman that they will team-up again, which is why he was determined to save The Caped Crusader's life.
Batman notices that he still has time. Dredd curses, believing he has failed. But has he? Has Scarface succeeded?
