In the aftermath of the events of SOLAR, Donovan Wylie is deprived of the X-O armor and lost in the desert. While he waits to see if the armor will be able to heal the tremendous damage done to it by Solar, Donovan wanders and meditates on his recent triumphs and tragedies. And he begins to consider what X-O should be now that it is completely his. If what he envisions come true, an astounding, brand-new X-O will be ready to face the future.
