Widely considered to be one of the first great adventure strips, Wash Tubbs the wise-cracking, girl-chasing opportunist and soldier of fortune Captain Easy are back for more fun and adventure. Volume 15 (1939-1940) reprints Crane's classic comic strips. Wash and Easy are threatened by the Zwigis tribe of the Andes, and then they bum a ride on a train and wind up in jail. There they meet the ventriloquist Lonnie Plunkett and pull off the most unusual escape ever.
