The Complete Wash Tubbs and Captain Easy by Roy Crane were published by the Flying Buttress Classics Library. Widely considered to be one of the first great adventure strips, Wash Tubbs the wise-cracking, girl-chasing opportunist and soldier of fortune Captain Easy are back for more fun and adventure. Volume 6 (1931-1932) reprints Crane's classic comic strips with an introduction by Bill Blackbeard. Wash meets Rip O'Day the "fightin'est man around" then re-teams with Easy and they stowaway on a convict ship. They are captured but soon make a daring escape and take command of a machine-gun company in the midst of a revolution.
