When The Sandman's Eblis O'Shaughnessy, envoy of the Endless, finally confronts Plath, he must also confront his own limitations. But the opposition to Plath's plan to capture Death also comes from within as Plath struggles with supernatural forces, as well as for the loyalty of her lover Evangeline.
