Bartholomew Ableworth receives a letter asking him to come to a masquerade party to meet an unknown person, who says that they have a cure to make him normal again. Cyrus Jennings begs him not to go, as it is an obvious trap. But, Ableworth is determined to meet danger head on! What he doesn't realize, however, is that he will be subjected to the most horrible psychological and emotional traps he has ever experienced to date.
