T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents was first published as an ongoing series from Tower Comics in the 1960s. In 1983 JC Comics purchased the rights to continue publishing the Agents, but only published two issues. Since being acquired by DC Comics, several of the heroes have been introduced into the modern-New Earth universe.
