Sandra Worth and Geoffry Garth witness more adventures of Malu and Garth as they try to return to Ormuz from exile. They also see adventures of other princesses throughout time. SynopsisSandra meets Geoffry at his office and the two invoke the powers of signet of Ormuz to see if Malu and Garth escaped the clutches of Phao. Slave Girl and the Pirates of AbmurThe King of Ormuz is convinced by Phao that Malu is not his daughter. He banishes Malu from his kingdom as allows Phao to set her terms. He also grants Garth to be a slave on Phao's ship. Phao sets sail to desert Malu somewhere in the sea. Garth devises a plan to loosen his bonds and puts the other slaves on alert that they may be escaping soon. He sacrifices his water rations by spilling his supply onto the screw holding him in place in hopes that the wood will rot, allowing his chains to be pulled free. It works and Garth is able to free himself and the slaves as a pirate ship attacks. Garth finds Phao and chases him atop the ship's mast while the slaves, pirates, and Phao's crew fight below. Phao promises to give up the signet (proof of Malu's heritage) in exchange for his life. Garth is able to grab the ring and Phao attempts to commit suicide while dragging Garth down with him. It doesn't work and Phao falls to his death. Garth slides down the sail and confronts a pirate who wishes to take Malu. The fight is bitter but Garth comes off victorious. He and Malu jump from the now-inflamed ship to test their fate in the depths of the sea. The Lost Princess(This is the first of two comic stories relating to a different princess. It has nothing to do with Malu's storyline.) Two adventurers Ted and Dick explore some of the jungle of the Middle East (?) and get lost. A storm drives the archeologists into a cave. The earth shakes and they fall into a chasm. The air chokes them a little bit but they find a beautiful woman preserved in ice. They cut her out and she reanimates. She is thrilled to find two strong men to help her in her plight during a war. She leads them to her home. The air gets harder to breathe with each step. The princesses land is found and she is distraught that it is already destroyed. She follows the men back to their land. They are glad to breathe fresh air again. They turn and find that the air has reduced their princess into dust. Malu the Slave Girl in the Tower of IndecisionMalu grows weak as she and Garth look for land. They find a shore as their strength fails them and the rest on the beach for hours. They are found by warriors from Zankhara. The two are brought before Queen Shala and are presented as spies from the sister kingdom of Tirza. The queen orders that Malu become her personal slave. Garth is to be her royal guard. She fancies him. One afternoon, the queen comes onto Garth and offers him a promotion. Malu walks in as the queen kisses Garth. She mocks the queen for loving on a slave and is taken away by guards. Garth later learns that Malu has been sentenced to the Tower of Indecision. He uses his position in the queen's guard to learn about the tower. It has a spinning floor that gets the prisoner confused. One door leads out to freedom and six doors lead to certain death. He sneaks to the tower to try and free Malu. The queen is wise to his intentions and entraps Garth as well. He and Malu are thrust into the trap portion of the tower. The floor spins and the two have no idea how to proceed. Garth opens a door and a huge boar rushes out and begins to attack Garth. In a panic, Malu opens another door and a giant lizard rushes out and attacks the boar. Garth and Malu find a way to climb above the harm while the monsters fight. They finally reach safety up high and find an adjacent room containing prisoners. Some guards enter and look for Garth and Malu. They deduce the high point above the prisoners and begin climbing. The Revel in Vardon Hall(This is a short story included in the middle of this issue that has nothing to do with the events told in the comic form.) This story relates the tale of a man who accepts a dare to sleep in a haunted manor. He is beset by ghosts and he plays a concert for them. He escapes and the house is burned to the ground. The Flame Goddess(This is the second of two comic stories relating to a different princess. It has nothing to do with Malu's storyline.) Two archeologists, Cliff and Neal, finally find the lost Peruvian city of Chicalmo. It isn't dead, though, but very much alive. The men are taken captive by the indigenous people. Neal's sister Shalia awakens from a dream that seems all-too real. She knows her brother is in danger and makes her way to Peru. She learns that the government has become concerned with the number of explorers that have gone missing once entering a certain cave and it plans to seal the mouth of the cave. She finds a man to guide her to the cave. She makes it through but passes out. Shalia awakens to find that the people has welcomed her as the prophesied new goddess. She accepts the role upon hearing that two prisoners await her execution. She figures the two are her brother and his partner. She devises a plan to free them and sets it in motion by calling a blacksmith. At the appointed hour, Shelia meets the men atop a temple as her people gather below to watch the sacrifice. She tries to stab the men (who have no idea it is her) but fails. She tries a few more times but the knife leaves no mark. She convinces everyone that the men must be gods and that they should release them and throw a banquet in their honor as a means of gaining forgiveness. Only a short time later does she reveal herself to the men, along with her plan of having a knife that retracted into itself when used. They enjoy the feast. Malu and the Fall of ZankharaThe guards climb and find Garth and Malu. Garth fights off a soldier or two but Malu is taken. She decides to fling herself and the soldier off the tower instead of being captured. Garth catches her before she falls. The two climb down and meet Gaddo, the brother of the evil queen. He is also the brother of the rival good queen, Tirza. He helps the prisoners escape through an underground door. In Tirza, the queen Tirza welcomes Garth and Malu. Garth offers to sneak back in to Zankhara to open the gates from the inside. Gaddo agrees to help and the queen prepares her people to attack. Inside the city, Gaddo creates a diversion and lures away the gate guards. Garth opens the gate and the Tizanian soldier flood Zarkhana. The battle is fierce. Gaddo finds his evil sister Shala and takes her captive. The city falls and Tirza awards the rule to Garth. Shala, however, knows the secret passage ways and escape. She finds a fabled boulder atop a wall and pushes it down to crush Garth and Malu. She falls with it. Note: The series ended here without solving the question as to Sandra and Geoffry's connection to Malu and Garth. Neither does the reader know if the two escape the falling boulder. — Description from Comic Vine community (comicvine.gamespot.com).
