Rover and Adventure, two of the big five DC Thomson boys story papers, merged in 1961. After the October 12th 1963 issue, the title reverted to Rover, and after five weeks under that shortened title, on issue dated November 23rd 1963, Wizard merged with Rover, forming Rover & Wizard.
