Alvin and his brother have been saved by the Shawn-Nee leader Ta-Kumsaw, but they can't go home yet because Ta-Kumsaw must bring them to the Red Prophet, where Alvin learns about his destiny as a maker. The Red Prophet makes another prophecy: Soon, White Man will rise up against Red, causing the world to change forever.
