Flaus, Wort, and Beld decide to travel from Moss to Allania in search of the legendary King Fahn. En route they encounter an injured dwarf who tells them of trouble in the highlands and a new demonic presence threatening the island. We also meet the beautiful maiden, Niece, who has traveled to Allania in order to find a way to conquer the evil embracing Lodoss.
