But yet another character he created also has a rightful place in the great fictional characters of all time, Professor Challenger. A fore runner to adventures such as Doc Savage, Professor Challenger was a scientist who used his strength and masterful wit to explore such wonders as The Lost World and the Disintegration Machine.
In this first adaptation, The Poison Belt, by Donald Marquez (The Realm), the world is plunged into an abyss of poisonous gas that is slowly choking the life from the land. The Professor must persevere to save not only his life, but of the planet as well!
