The Jungle Ranch of Jee-Raff Jed, Ch. 1 cliffhanger ending - The Black Bullet's men tie Nyoka to a large tree, including tying a rope tied so tightly around her neck so she cannot scream for help. Then the Black Bullet ties a knife to a rope hanging above Nyoka's head and spins the rope faster and faster, sending the blade ever closer to Nyoka's head. Jungle Revenge, Ch. 1 cliffhanger ending - This cliffhanger is a close variation of the issue's cover and has to be one of the deadliest chapter endings ever for Nyoka. Trying to escape an alligator, Nyoka paddles away in her canoe, but falis to see a large piece of driftwood. When the canoe hits the driftwood, Nyoka is thrown into the air. Her head brutally hits the driftwood and she is knocked unconscious. The chapter ends with an unconscious Nyoka actually laying across the alligator's gaping jaws, with her hands and part of her head in the water! As the writer's commentary reads, "A snap of his massive jaws and it will be all over for Nyoka, the Jungle Girl". Ch. 2 cliffhanger ending - Nyoka and Little Tangi have their arms tied behind their backs.
