Kathryn and Nira rendez-vous with former Oasis scientist Dunkan Riley, who is escorted by Mac Elrok. Together with Dragon-Man they re-enter the Oasis facility on the Carribean island, trying to stop the Director from going back in time and rewriting history to fit his own goals. Unable to stop him, the Director enters a time-gate and steps through. However, Dunkan has secretly recoded all the key systems. As a result, the Director did not go back in time, he sent himself to limbo instead. Stealing the only vehicle of Oasis left that is capable of time-travel, Nira-X, Kathryn and Dunkan return Dragon-Man and Mac Elrok to their own place before setting off.
